What is the "Flex Your Finish" contest?
The “Flex Your Finish” contest is a new initiative by the National Plasterers Council (NPC) to showcase the outstanding work, talent, and innovation within the plastering community. It’s a chance for NPC members to gain exposure, share best practices, and celebrate their accomplishments.
What can I submit to the contest?
You can submit anything you’re proud of that demonstrates your company’s excellence! This includes:
- Outstanding projects: Show off your most impressive plastering work.
- Innovative services: Highlight a service you’ve perfected or a unique approach you offer.
- Exceptional team members: Recognize employees who go above and beyond.
- Best practices: Share your techniques for application, marketing, or even equipment maintenance.
- Best Jobsite Transformation: Before-and-after shots of a completed project, highlighting the dramatic difference the team made.
- Crew Pride: Photos or videos featuring the crew in action, celebrating teamwork, craftsmanship, and on-the-job camaraderie.
- Fleet Flex: Show off the company trucks or vehicles branded with the company logo or loaded with equipment, demonstrating readiness and professionalism.
- Perfect Pool Finish: A segment dedicated to showcasing the smoothest, most pristine pool finishes.
- Creative Workspaces: Unusual or challenging job site locations—whether it’s a luxury home or an intricate pool in a tricky spot.
- Best Use of Tools/Tech: Highlight innovative tools, technology, or techniques used on the job to produce an outstanding finish.
- Safety First: Focus on safety measures in place on the job site, promoting awareness and industry standards.
How do I submit my entry?
You can submit your entry in two ways:
- Social Media: Share your content (photos, videos, etc.) on social media using the hashtag #FlexYourFinish and be sure to tag us.
- Direct Submission: Submit your entry directly to the NPC – email us at flexyourfinish@nationalplastererscouncil.com or DM or Private message us.
When does the contest start and end?
Submissions open in November. The contest will run monthly, with new winners chosen each month.
What are the prizes?
Each month, one winner will receive a special NPC prize package and be featured across all NPC platforms, including social media, the website, newsletters, and more. All monthly winners will also be recognized at the NPC Annual Conference.
By submitting my work, am I giving the NPC permission to use it?
Yes, by submitting images or other content to the “Flex Your Finish” contest, you grant the NPC permission to use, modify, and display your submissions for promotional, marketing, and educational purposes.
Do I need to own the rights to the images I submit?
Yes, you must have the necessary rights to share the images or content you submit. The NPC is not responsible for any unauthorized use of submitted content by third parties.
Who can participate in the contest?
The “Flex Your Finish” contest is exclusively for NPC members. If you’re not already a member, consider joining to participate in this exciting opportunity.
Can I submit more than once?
Yes, we encourage you to submit as often as you like.
Can I submit multiple photos & videos.
Yes, we accept multiple images and both photos and videos.
Terms & Conditions
By submitting images to the NPC ‘Flex Your Finish’ contest, you grant the National Plasterers Council permission to use, modify, and display the submitted images for promotional, marketing, and educational purposes. Entrants acknowledge that all submissions are voluntary and confirm they have the necessary rights to share the images. NPC is not responsible for any unauthorized use of submitted images by third parties.
